Origins of a Modern Creative
Formerly from the haunted grounds of Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, where she served coffee and studied Film & Media at the College of William & Mary, Silvana briefly haunted the streets of Williamsburg, NYC and the historical Shaw neighborhood of Washington D.C. , before moving across the pond to Glasgow, Scotland to pursue a Masters in Music Industries at the University of Glasgow.
Silvana has interned for CNN, the PBS station WETA, and is currently a Video Editor for the 501 (c) 3 non-profit Girls Behind the Rock Show. She’s previously contributed to various online zines including 'Unfiltered', 'Everything But...,' and ‘Ramble On’, and worked for online creative writing school Writing Pad for two years where she helped coordinate online tv industry events as well as provided marketing & administrative support.
When it comes to music culture, cult tv shows, and online media communities, she's your go-to creative. She spends her free time traveling to see concerts, overanalyzing her favorite tv shows, and carefully curating her thrifted vintage clothes collection. As a world traveler across multiple continents and online spaces, Silvana has found a passion for creative expression and the media that connects people together.
Graduating in December of 2024 with a Masters in Music Industries, she aspires to find her next role in the cross sections of art, music, & television but would definitely throw it all away to follow her favorite band on tour.
She’s currently unavailable for freelance work.
